Welcome to NEAS

The Northeast Algal Society is a regional phycological society that is dedicated to the furtherment of phycological (algal) research and education in the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. The 56th Annual Northeast Algal Symposium

The 56th Annual Northeast Algal Symposium (NEAS) was held on April 21-23, 2017 at the historic Mount Washington Resort, a beautifully renovated grand hotel located in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest.
